NW Accent

Overview

NW Accent, a PNW small business retailer, was looking for a stronger approach to their email marketing efforts in order to drive more foot traffic into the physical store. Their top goal in their campaigns was to be more consistent in scheduling, messaging, and brand awareness.
The success of the email campaigns was achieved by maintaining consistent branding across all email materials, adhering to a regular outreach schedule of two to three emails/texts per week, and creating compelling, user-focused content. I used MailChimp to design engaging newsletters, optimize subject lines, and analyze performance metrics, providing actionable insights to enhance future campaigns and boost brand awareness.

How can we attract more potential shoppers?

Messaging

To ensure we were capturing NW Accent’s target audience, female shoppers ages 35-60, we fine-tuned the brand’s personality and made sure that each CTA, description, and headline all brought forth authenticity, adventure, and community in a friendly, inviting, and professional tone.

Branding

Using current NW Accent’s current branding, a key part of creating successful email campaigns was to use consistent headers, typography, and bringing in photography that would be relatable to users and keep them engaged.

A/B Testing

By testing two different types of campaigns at once, we were able to asses which types of email newsletters and SMS texts attracted the most customers. Testing different types of imagery, CTA's, and targeting needs of niche demographics helped boost clicks.
